SimplyShine is a mobile car valeting business run by Tyler Berrystone, based at 3 Wood Street, Swindon SN1 4AN. We decide how your details are used, so we are responsible for looking after them.

What we collect
When you ask for a price: your name, mobile number and postcode, your car size and the clean you picked, and anything you add yourself, such as your make and model, best days, notes, a friend’s name, or photos of the inside of your car.
When you buy a gift voucher: your name and mobile, an email if you give one, the name of the person it is for, and your message for them.
When you text or ring us: your number and what you send us.
Why we use it
To reply about your car: to give you a price, agree a day, remind you the evening before and do the job. That is what you asked us for, and we cannot do it without your details.
To keep things running well: to keep track of your valets for the rewards, honour a referral or a held discount, and keep a record of the work we have done.
After a valet we may text you now and then, for example to ask for a review or to say you are due another clean. You can reply STOP to any of them and we will not text you again.
Who else sees it
We never sell your details or pass them to anyone to sell you things. A few services hold them for us so we can run the business: Cloudflare runs this website, SimplyScale runs the system that receives your enquiry, and LeadConnector sends and stores our texts. Some of these may store data outside the UK, with the safeguards UK law requires.
If you use the WhatsApp button to send a friend your link, that message goes through WhatsApp, not through us.
How long we keep it
If you ask for a price but do not book, we keep your details for 12 months and then delete them. If you have had a valet with us, we keep your details for 2 years after your last one, so your rewards and history are there if you come back. Photos are kept with your enquiry and deleted with it.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies or advertising trackers. It keeps one small note in your browser so the opening screen only shows once a visit. We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or follow you around the web.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected, or have them deleted. Text or ring us on 07727 268900 and we will sort it within a month, usually much sooner.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put it right first.
